Our Mission
Our mission is to help our aging Wartime Veterans and their Surviving Spouse, navigate the red tape and QUALIFY for the VA Aid and Attendance benefit. Veterans Benefit Planning provides the veteran with assistance with all stages of the claims process , especially pre-planning process.
What is Aid & Attendance?
The VA Aid & Attendance program is designed to help Veterans and their Surviving Spouses pay for the costs associated with In-Home Caregivers, Assisted Living, Long Term Skilled Nursing, and Adult Day Care. Eligible claimants can receive up to $39,162 per year, TAX FREE.

Is There a Fee to Apply?
There is no fee to apply for the benefit and there is no fee for the initial consultation. Fees may apply if you need financial or legal advice.

Wartime Eligibility Dates of Service
World War II 12/07/1941–12/31/1946
Korean War 06/27/1950–01/31/1955
Vietnam I (must have been in country) 02/28/1961–08/04/1964
Vietnam II 08/05/1964–05/07/1975
Mideast Conflicts 08/20/1990–Present
Maximum Monthly Tax Free Benefit for your care as of Jan 2025:
- Single Veteran: $2,358 per month (or $28,300 annually)
- Veteran with Spouse: $2,795 per month (or $33,548 annually)
- Surviving Spouse: $1,515 per month (or $18,187 annually)
Don't Just Apply... Qualify for benefits
Whether your loved one is in need of care or already receiving care, you want an organization that cares, is knowledgeable and will give you the right advice to QUALIFY for benefits. If you're not "In The Box" prior to applying, chances are, you'll be denied and the wait time for the VA to respond is LONG.
Like most entitlement programs, there are specific criteria that you must meet. 50% of the Aid and Attendance benefit has to do with your current financial situation.
